HOLE 1
The starting hole at Boca Grove is a medium length, dogleg left par 4. Tee shots should favor the center or right side of the fairway; this will give you a clear shot at the green. Be sure to avoid the fairway bunker on the left and the green side bunkers as shots hit there will most likely lead to a bogey or worse.

HOLE 2
Straight off the tee box this par 5 is protected with out of bounds on the left and bunkers on the right, so try and keep your tee shot straight. Everything rolls right on the fairway. Your 2nd shot must contend with a pond on the right so aim for playing down the left side. If you hit a perfect tee shot you may be tempted to go for the green in two, however, the front of the green is protected with bunkers. Play it smart and lay up a nice distance so you can go pin hunting for your third shot and land yourself a birdie or par.

HOLE 3
This is the first of the fabulous par 3’s at Boca Grove. This is the shortest par 3 on the course. Your tee shot must carry the water and land on the fairly receptive green waiting for you. The green is well protected on the right side by sand and water. If you miss on the left side, you will be faced with a green that runs away from you.

HOLE 4
This is the number 1 handicap hole at Boca Grove and for good reason. This hole offers several challenges depending on which tee you play from. If you hit the ball long off the tee, then you give yourself a nice approach shot to an elevated green over the water. A deep, precarious bunker will catch balls that are hit to the right of the green. Par is a terrific score for this par 4 hole.

The tee shot on this par 4 is crucial and must be left of center of the fairway for the best approach to the green. A series of bunkers on the right side makes this a daunting task. The approach to the green is well protected by bunkers, which makes accuracy a premium.

This short par 4 gives the player a chance at a routine par or even a birdie if the tee shot finds the fairway. Be sure to avoid the pot bunker in front of the green. The green is receptive, but hitting long will leave you a tough up and down.

HOLE 7
This long par 5 requires nothing less than a straight tee shot. The OB and coquina bunker on the left comes in to play off the tee leaving you to try and favor the right side of the fairway. This hole gives the player many options for the approach. Be sure to notice where the pin location is because that will dictate which side of the cross bunkers you need to land your lay-up shot.

HOLE 10
This dogleg right hole offers no let up after the difficult ninth. With OB left and right, the only option is for your drive to go left center of the fairway on this par 4. The right side is guarded by a coquina bunker with tall palm trees. Your second shot will be a mid-iron into a receptive green. Be careful though to avoid the large bunker to the right of the green to keep you at par for the start of the back nine.

This is a medium length par 4 on the course and places a premium on the tee shot. A little too far left and OB will come in to play, the right side will end you down the hill and leave you with a blind approach shot. A perfect tee shot will leave you with an iron shot to a big green. There is a waste bunker on the left side of the green, but a well-placed approach shot will be rewarded.

HOLE 12
Although short on length, this par 5 is by far one of the most challenging holes on the course by usually being played into the wind. Hit your tee shot to a generous fairway, but watch out for the OB on the right. If you hit your tee shot well, you may be tempted to go for the green in two. However, a pond guards the front of the green. Shots that carry over the green usually end up in a grass bunker. The smart shot is usually laying up to a manageable distance. A back left pin is a great chance for a birdie!

HOLE 13
The 13th hole is the only par 3 without any water at Boca Grove. Beware, though this hole is no pushover, club selection is at a premium on this beautiful hole. Your tee shot is hit into a large two-tiered green where the pin placement will determine which club to use. The green is protected on the right with two big bunkers and shots hit over the green will most likely lead to a high score.

HOLE 17
One of the most picturesque holes in Boca Grove this medium length par 5 plays to the long hitters. A long drive over the water, which is all down the left side of the fairway can cut a lot of yardage off this hole making this hole reachable in two for the big hitters. The fairway is two-tiered which makes laying up a good option if hitting long is not your forte. A birdie is achievable with either approach off the tee.
