The Boca Grove Junior Tennis program will give your child a proper start on the court.

One of the leading youth tennis schools in Florida, our junior tennis program will teach your child solid tennis fundamentals, while nurturing enthusiasm and love for the game. Led by the experienced, professional Boca Grove tennis staff, the program emphasizes the importance of proper technique, practice, and etiquette, building a solid foundation for the future generation of Club members and players.

Weekly clinics and seasonal camps are designed for youth players of all age levels. Each player is placed in a program appropriate to his or her skills, allowing them to develop their game at their own pace.

Our Pickleball Court is perfect for all ages!

Joining the trend that is sweeping the nation, in the Summer of 2017 Boca Grove added five lighted pickleball courts to our tennis facilities. The sport is perfect for any athletic ability and any age. Pickleball combines the sport of tennis, badminton and wiffle ball allowing for a wide range of participation. The courts are smaller than tennis courts and can allow the competitive spirit to cover more ground in less time.

Tennis Staff

Daniel Stover - Director of Racquets

Born in Dallas, Texas Dan grew up and attended the John Newcomb/Owen Davidson tennis academy. After a successful junior tennis career, he played 2 seasons for the Univ. of Texas before leaving on the pro tour. During this time, he also had the benefit of coaching and playing with many world-class athletes finally ending him in a position in Timaru, New Zealand, where I was the director of junior tennis at the ASB Regional Tennis Facility and earned the privilege to participate in the coaching of the New Zealand Davis Cup team. Upon arriving back, he was pleased to call Florida his home where he still mentored some of the county’s top juniors and participated in many successful tennis programs such as the: Jupiter Bay Tennis Club, PGA National Resort and Spa, Jupiter Country Club, and Willoughby Golf Cub, where he was the Director of Tennis for 10 years.  He is now very pleased to call Boca Grove Golf and Tennis Club his home. He still loves to play competitive tennis and was named the USPTA Player of the Year in 2017, he also has represented the United States in team competition, and is on the Babalot Competition Team.
Brett Kurtz - Head Tennis Professional

In 2017, Brett Kurtz joined Boca Grove with 36 years of experience on the courts with extensive knowledge in coaching all levels of play. Brett's a USPTA Certified Elite Professional and has USTA degrees in High Performance Coaching and in 10 and Under Coaching. He has worked as the Director of Tennis at Woodmont Country Club and Indian Spring Country Club where he coached men and women's team and ran all levels of the junior and adult programs. He has also shared his talent with the Harold Solomon International Tennis Institute, as well as Pine Crest School as the Varisty Girls Coach where he helped lead them to three District Championship titles, and the 2013 Regional Champions. In 2013, Brett was named the High School Coach of the Year by the Miami Herald and the Sun Sentinel. Brett has been chosen for the last 9 years by the USTA Florida Junior Tennis Council to coach the traveling team of the best 14-year-old boys and girls in the state. You can also catch him singing in his band.

Anya Tarlouskaya - Tennis Instructor

Born in Minsk, Belarus, Anya has been playing tennis for more than 15 years. Awarded the title of the Candidate for Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus. Anya played various Tennis Europe and ITF tournaments and got international rankings. Moved to United States to play college tennis at D2 school. Some of her tennis achievements include Rookie of the Year, Freshman of the Year, First Team All-Conference 2018 and Conference Championships. As an undergrad, she helped with training at tennis summer camps and tennis clinics. Anya relocated to Boca Raton after graduating
from Anderson University (SC) in 2021. Anya is USPTA Certified Tennis Instructor.
Aaron Bristol - Pickleball Instructor
Born in  Los Angeles, California, Aaron Bristol lived in several states including, New York, Connecticut, and Topeka, Kansas. At age 6, Aaron was introduced to tennis while living on a farm with a private tennis court.  However, it wasn't until his 16th birthday that his interest would turn into a passion for the sport. 
 
He attended tennis camps at Duke University in North Carolina, discovering the importance of quality instruction, mentors, and coaches. Upon relocating to Boca Raton, Florida, in 1984, Aaron trained with renowned instructor  CW Lewis and played key team matches for the Oaks of Boca Raton. 
 
In 2016 he was introduced to the game of Pickleball by Raul Trevieso. Aaron is now a certified coach by the Professional Pickleball Registry and currently offers private lessons in Boca. Aaron's passion for the game of Pickleball is the foundation of his enthusiasm and patience to instruct as he looks forward to introducing the sport to newcomers.
